Gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber

Sie ist groß, gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Es war alles notwendige und sogar darüber hinaus vorhanden- Bettlaken, Bettdecken, Handtücher, Föhn, Waschmaschine, Müllbeutel und sämtliche Utensilien für die Küche. Die zimmer und das Bad waren ebenfalls wie beschrieben und sauber. Bei unserer Ankunft die uns die Unterkunft zeigten und alles nötige erklärten. Positiv war auch, dass wir zum Auspacken des Autos in die verkehrsberuhigte Zone fahren konnten. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt (mitten in Orta san Giulio). Bezüglich des Check-Outs war sehr zuvorkommend, sodass wir bereits um 5 Uhr morgens Auschecken konnten.

The apartment is perfect for lingering in the village and going to great restaurants, bars, lively squares and great long lake-side walks. It is well equipped and well placed, and has a nicely sized living-room/kitchen for rainy days or resting. Orta San Giulio can get crowded on bank holidays so it was really good to take advantage of those days to get out and visit many great places: snow-ski mountains, holy monuments, markets, villages, lago Maggiore… so many things. It’s our third visit to the area and we still haven’t seen half!

We knew we were going to enjoy our stay here right from the start. The welcome from our hosts was fantastic; we were assisted with our luggage, given a full tour of the apartment and explanation of its workings, and provided with a host of great suggestions on things to do, where to go, and places to eat. You can’t beat local knowledge! The apartment was clean, extremely comfortable and fully equipped with everything we required. The location was perfect; just a short stroll to the main piazza with its incredible view across the lake to Isola San Giulio, and in the midst of a range of restaurants, cafes, galleries and shops. Quite a bit of street noise does drift into the apartment, however, the bedroom is double glazed, allowing a peaceful night’s sleep. If you like being in the thick of things with everything at your doorstep, you couldn’t find a better accommodation option.
