With the summer season, in fact, one of the most anticipated and appreciated events of the year is back, the Fireworks Festival. The review sees the involvement from June to September of eight local tourist destinations, and not only, and each year attracts over 350,000 people all united by the same passion. Also this year the Varese stage of the Festival will be in Sesto Calende with the fireworks display that will animate the night of Saturday 27 July.

The Ossola Lakes, Mountains and Valleys Tourist District, which coordinates and promotes the event, is the venue that hosts the shows, organized in places that offer breathtaking natural landscapes. From the famous Lake Maggiore with the enchanting Borromean Islands, to the clear waters of the tranquil Lake of Mergozzo up to the enchanted scenery of Lake Orta with the suggestive Island of San Giulio. An idyllic area surrounded by the Ossola Valleys, which offer mountain lovers vast expanses of woods, alpine lakes, high peaks and spectacular parks.
